Elite Fitness Trainer drops almost 40lbs in 21 Days with KSFL

They say it takes 21 days to break or make a new habit – and this was certainly the case  for Fitness Professional Jay Banks from Cambridgshire.

“I was looking after other people’s needs so much, I forgot about my own.”

Teaching a variety of fitness classes a week, running his personal training company (Jay Banks Personal Training) as well as Creative Director at Kickstart Fat Loss Cambridge,

saw that the pounds and inches began to creep up whilst his own workouts and nutrition slip.

Busy schedules and a hectic lifestyle caused the start of poor eating habits.

Too much sugar, larger portion sizes, eating late at night and not drinking enough water were all contributing factors to Jay’s weight gain.

Sometimes, even smart, talented trainers and educated fitness pros can get out of shape & let it all slide.

Feeling sluggish and unfit Jay decided to make his own health and fitness a priority.

Knowing the importance of nutrition and healthy eating – Jay reverted back to the Kickstart Fatloss Plan where the principles of clean eating apply.

Processed, convenience foods and meals with high sugar contents were quickly replaced with nutritious, home cooked, fat burning foods.

With an abundance of new energy along with a consistent training plan, Jay quickly started to see the results.

In just 21 days he lost a massive 37.8lbs -dramatically reducing his body fat whilst increasing his fitness, energy levels and general well-being.

 

Jay’s top tips for looking and feeling great:

1.       Take a ‘before’ and ‘after’ photo

As much as you might hate the thought of getting your picture taken, the differences you will see will really keep you motivated. It’s a great way to track your progress and keep you accountable.

Those “before” photos can be a huge wake-up call you’ve been looking for!

2.     Eat 3 meals a day.

Don’t skip meals and keep your metabolism active by eating regularly.

3.     Drink 2-3 Litres of water a day.

Keep your body and mind hydrated.

4.     Get enough good quality sleep

5.     Make time for yourself.
