Do you struggle to get to the gym or find time to workout?

Why not try walking. Aim for 10,000 steps a day and this will boost your mood, mental health, physical health and is fantastic for your heart.

Those who regularly take a brisk walk can cut their risk of heart disease by a whopping 9.3 percent !

Ways to up your walking game:

 

–Swing your arms and power walk.

–Increase the incline-  walking uphill can burn upto 67 percent more energy.

— Set a challenge of 30 mins per day or taking the stairs at work/ parking the car a little further away- all the little things add up.

–Find a buddy- you can enjoy catching up with a friend and push each other to reach your goals.

— Too cold outside- get your steps inside! Use the stairs and lap the living room.
