Having suffered with Eczema myself, I understand how diet is so important to skin health. Through the KSFL way of eating I learnt it was dairy that flared up my eczema and now I can control it with the right food that works for me.

What is the link between food and skin conditions?

Whether your skin problem is psoriasis, eczema, rosacea or acne, your skin is having an inflammatory reaction, and the source of that inflammation most often is caused by the foods that you are eating. Sugar and dairy tend to be the main culprits.

Many common skin diseases can be the result of, or be made worse by the foods that we eat and the lifestyle we follow.

If you have been using steroid creams to treat eczema for a long time, your skin gets used to these creams and only masks it temporarily. Reducing inflammation inside the body is the best way to clear your skin up long term.

The skin is the biggest organ of the body and anything you put onto it is absorbed into the blood stream, be aware of chemicals you put on your skin. Think about using natural and organic deodorants, moisturisers and shampoo etc. 

Eating clean provides you with the essential vitamins and minerals needed to keep your skin healthy, and can often eliminate or alleviate these conditions.

 

How can KSFL help?
