How are you feeling ?
Remember – If you are feeling a bit stuck and lacking in
motivation then keep in mind Patience & Persistence.
Patience is accepting that your journey may take
longer than you thought.
Persistence is reaffirming that commitment – you WILL
get there in the long run.
Before you even get into food and what you can and can’t eat
Journalling – Take 3 points through the day and write down exactly what you are thinking. Lets see if you are constantly thinking negative and damaging thoughts and break the pattern.
Food behaviours – Do you eat differently around some people, or when you are on your own?
Do you not make the best choices when you are rushing?
Are you eating too quickly at work?
Sleep – Are you getting 8 hours a night of good quality sleep?
If not this has a huge knock on effect on your appetite, cravings, mental state, emotional health.
Stress – Are you dealing with chronic stress day after day.
Again, this has a MASSIVE impact on your emotional and mental health and fat storing.
Meditation – Rather than loading on more stressful exercise is meditation for 10 minute a day going a much better route for you to start with?
Focus on the base line levels of health FIRST and you may NOT have to give up some of your favourites foods just yet 🙂
