Double nut dark chocolate cake with fresh strawberry frosting…. mouth watering…isn’t it???At the end of the day CAKE is CAKE… and you should not eat the whole thing!!…but simply by substituting flour and sugar with almond flour and honey you can make a healthier version!!!

RECIPE:
– 150 gr almonds
– 150 gr walnuts
– 200 gr grass fed butter
– 6 eggs
– 300 gr dark chocolate
– 1 tbs of raw cacao powder
– 100 gr honey
FROSTING
– 1 cup of fresh strawberries
– 100 gr butter
– 100 gr coconut sugar
– 1 tsp vanilla essence

METHOD
In a blender, mix both types of nuts until finely chopped. Add the chocolate and cacao powder. Pour mixture into a bowl
Mix the honey and butter until fluffy then add the 6 yokes. Mix with chocolate and nut mixture.
In blender, bring the egg whites to soft peaks…then fold mixture.
Place it in a cake tin and into the oven at 185 for 45-60 minutes.

Frosting: blend all ingredients and place mixture in fridge to set.
